Siloam Springs, AR: Online Market is Open!
www.siloamsprings.locallygrown.net
We are so excited about opening day! This year the farmers and vendors will be set up in the grass, along the sidewalk, facing University Street. The market will open at 3 p.m. and remain open until 7 p.m. and will offer fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, pastured pork, poultry and beef, herbs, baked goods, hand crafted items, vegetable plants, and maybe some cut flowers.
Our farmers have been working hard during the late winter and early spring to be able to bring food to your table!
The Online Market will continue to operate with thepick up location moving to the Market Table in the park on Saturdays. You can pre-order your favorite items and shop the market for other selections when you pick up your order.
White River Creamery cheese will be available via online ordering only. You may stop at the Market Table on Tuesdays to place an order or place your cheese order online at your convenience – Sunday through Wednesday at 5 p.m. – and pick up those orders on Saturday at the Market Table.
Come down and enjoy LIVE MUSIC by local band Lore! They will be playing from 5 to 7 p.m. on opening day!
Stop by the Market Table and pick up the Spring edition of Edibles Ozarkansas and Food and Farm.
Don’t forget there will be a Mobile SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Van at the market on Opening Day to assist customers who may qualify for SNAP benefits. The market accepts SNAP/EBT benefits at the Market Table. Stop by if you have questions or would like to visit the staff in the Mobile SNAP Unit to see if you qualify for benefits.
Looking forward to seeing everyone Tuesday!!

SAT, APR 25 – BENDERDINKER!
We are humbled to be the nonprofit beneficiary of this amazing event. Founder Kristina Williams has outdone herself once again. Dozens and dozens of volunteers who have signed up to make it all happen. Psyched to have the Soul City Sirens helping with land logistics. Grateful that Escape Outdoors has donated a beautiful paddleboard to raffle. Appreciative for the food donations & discounts we’ve received from farmers for river sampling. And thrilled that Slow Food CSR will be vending some pretty fantastic local food at the festival. Yes, it’ll probably rain. But we’re gonna be there anyway. Put on your poncho … and do the DINKER!
SUN, APR 26 – GREASE! – ALG student intern Tabias W. is performing in A.R.C.’s musical production of “Grease” in Augusta this Sunday, at 3pm. ALG will give out 10 tickets to the first ten folks who ask. Come fill the auditorium with us! Text kim@augustalocallygrown.org to reserve yours.

Come join us in a two-day renovation of an old florist shop at Icebox Ministries’ new urban campus. We’ll use it as a teaching kitchen for the FVRx this summer. Okay, so this might sound like more of a “work day” than a “play day” … but believe me … it’s all fun. Work starts at 9am each day and goes til we’re exhausted. Painting, flooring, gardening, general cleaning up. Email kim@augustalocallygrown.org to volunteer.
SAT, MAY 2 – SOUTHERN MADE, STORE GRAND OPENING – Congratulations to three local farmers for announcing the grand opening of their new fiber arts store “Southern Made” on Sat, May 2, 10am-5:30pm.
